Materials
What gets cut here
01 Aluminium
The most common material through the shop. Light, machines cleanly, and suits everything from heat sinks and housings to hubs and brackets.
02 Steel & stainless
Where strength, wear resistance or corrosion resistance matters more than weight — pins, bushings, shafts and structural components.
03 Engineering plastics
Machined plastic parts for prototypes, wear components and anywhere metal would be heavier or more conductive than the application wants.

Getting an accurate quote
What to send with your drawing
A quote is only as good as the information behind it. Five things make the difference between a real number and a guess.
The geometry
A PDF, STEP, DXF, DWG or IGES file. A dimensioned sketch works, and so does the physical part.
The quantity
One piece and fifty pieces are different jobs with different unit prices. Say which you mean, and whether it will repeat.
The material
If you know what it must be made from, say so. If you do not, describe what the part has to survive and it can be recommended.
The tolerances that matter
Call out the features that are genuinely critical. Blanket-tight tolerances on every dimension add cost without adding function.
The date you need it
Lead time is quoted alongside price. Knowing your deadline up front avoids quoting a job that cannot land in time.
